Frequently asked questions

What does the calculated flow represent?

It is the design peak flow of DHW at the selected design temperature, including common areas and the safety margin.

Why are use temperature and DHW temperature both required?

Showers and washbasins use mixed water. The tool calculates the hot-water fraction required from the selected DHW production temperature.

How are common areas included?

Public washbasins, service sinks, staff showers and other direct DHW demands are added using editable simultaneity factors.

Can several modules be installed in cascade?

Yes, where the product family supports it. Final cascade control, hydraulic balancing and accessories must be verified.

Why do LOVATO capacities need curve verification?

Actual output varies with buffer temperature, cold-water temperature and DHW set point. Nominal values are used only for pre-selection.
